A. Business Visa Indonesia: When Will You Need One?

Foreign citizens with a single-entry or multiple-entry business visa in Indonesia are permitted to attend business meetings, purchase goods, and even negotiate potential business deals. However, remember that these Indonesian visa types forbid you from earning any money. You will need an Indonesian work permit to do so.

B. Single and Multiple-Entry Business Visa in Indonesia

Generally, a business visa in Indonesia allows you to stay for up to 60 days and can be extended for another six months.

On the other hand, a single-entry business visa holder in Indonesia must extend their Visa as soon as it expires. They do not need to leave the country since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and can extend their visas through an onshore application.

On the other hand, a multiple-entry business visa* holder has an advantage because this type of Visa does not restrict the number of times a person can stay in the country per year.

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, multiple-entry business visas in Indonesia are currently unavailable until further notice.

C. Indonesian Business Visa: Who Can Get One?

A business visa is one of Indonesia’s most flexible staying permits, as most foreign citizens meet the requirements. However, it is essential to note that there is still a list of restricted countries where Indonesian citizens’ business visa applications may be denied. Afghanistan, Cameroon, Guinea, Israel, Iraq, Liberia, Nigeria, North Korea, and Somalia are among these countries.

Notice: Due to the Indonesian regulations, we are not able to provide visa services to the following nationals: Afghani, Guinean, Israeli, North Korean, Cameroonian, Liberian, Nigerien, Nigerian, Somalian

D. Indonesian Business Visa: What Are The Requirements?

Applicants should prepare several documents to avoid delays during the application process for an Indonesian business visa. A passport with a minimum validity of 18 months is required, as is a bank account statement for the previous three months with a balance of at least USD 10,000.

You must also ensure that all information provided in the application form corresponds to the mandatory documents attached. Contact our English-speaking visa consultants in Jakarta, Semarang, and Bali for more information on Indonesian business visa requirements.
